Hybrid Kin is Andrew's title for the second phase of Hybrid Bodies, which focuses upon the experience of donor families in the context of heart transplants. These new works are currently in development. The ongoing research project examines the complex and often problematic language and discourse of the 'gift of life', the mandate of anonymity between recipients and donor families, as well as the various reasons individuals choose to become organ donors. The works for Hybrid Kin have been tested as beta versions at a number of venues including Gallery West, London 2017, the Winchester Gallery, Hampshire, 2018 and at the 4th Space Concordia, Montreal Canada.
