Two pieces of work are to be exhibited at the new space set up at the Brain Observatory. The space was established by Dr. Jacopo Annese, Ph.D Assistant Professor in Residence in the Dept. of Radiology at the U.C. San Diego School of Medicine. Dr. Annese is a computational neuroanatomist whose formal training stems from a wide background in the biological sciences and the neurosciences. In 2009 the Observatory was charged with postmortem examination and neuroimaging of the brain of Henry Moliason (“H.M.”), a patient with severe anterograde amnesia, one of the most famous medical cases in the history of neurology. The results and all data from the study are freely available for researchers and educators at www.PatientHM.org.
The exhibition starts on 12th November 2022 and ends on 3!st January 2023
