Hit in the Eye. 'Human'i'ome'

This is a still image from a new video I have been making. I have turned to editing in Adobe After Effects as it was all I could do after having a detached retina operated on. The work comes out of some ideas spawned during my residency at Cultivamos Cultura, Sao Luis, Portugal in early July 2022. The work is part of the project 'Human'i'ome' I am undertaking, a slowly developing project connected to gut health and the microbiome. It was whilst away that I realized that something was amiss with my right eye.
